Kumari Selja said that only after Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, she had made up her mind to change the BJP government in the state. There was an anti-incumbency wave against the BJP and the people of the weaker and Dalit class were well aware that the BJP was trying to suppress them. He said that except farmers and laborers, every class was angry with BJP, for which they have now taken revenge. BJP has never had any direct connection with the public, whereas Congress and its workers have worked on the ground among the people. Rahul Gandhi’s Padyatra gave immense energy to the Congress workers of Haryana, which is being utilized in forming the government. BJP took Haryana a lot backward in 10 years. People are confident that if anyone can bring them back on track, it is Congress only.
