With the announcement of Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly election dates, election activity has intensified in the national capital as well. BJP has made MP Baijayant Panda the election in-charge for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. MP Atul Garg will be co-in-charge. BJP President JP Nadda on Tuesday appointed Odisha’s Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda as the party’s election in-charge for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, a letter issued by BJP national general secretary Arun Singh said. Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg has been appointed co-in-charge for Delhi Assembly elections. This appointment will come into effect with immediate effect.
Assembly elections in Delhi are expected to be held in early 2025. However, even before that the political atmosphere in Delhi has heated up. BJP is continuously trying to corner the Delhi government by accusing it of corruption. BJP is attacking by citing the disturbances in Delhi. Let us tell you that in the Delhi Assembly elections held in 2020, Aam Aadmi Party had won 62 out of 70 seats, while BJP had won eight seats. Congress could not win even a single seat.
