The main contest in the state is between the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress. Today (Saturday), elections were held for all 90 assembly seats of Haryana in a single phase. According to the Election Commission, till 17.00 pm a total of 61 percent voting took place.

Apart from this, 62.26 percent in Ambala, 63.06 in Charkhi Dadri, 51.28 in Faridabad, 67.05 in Hisar, 60.52 in Jhajjar, 62.53 in Kaithal, 60.42 in Karnal, 65.55 in Kurukshetra. in Mahendragarh 65.76 percent voting took place in Palwal, 54.71 in Panchkula, 60.52 in Panipat, 60.91 in Rewari, 60.56 in Rohtak, 65.37 in Sirsa, 56.69 in Sonipat and 67.93 percent in Yamunanagar district.

The election results of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir will also be known in the counting of votes on October 8 and the election process will be completely completed on October 10.
