A meeting of the Haryana Cabinet has been called on Wednesday. According to the report, a recommendation to dissolve the Haryana Assembly can be made during this time. Sources said, ‘The state cabinet meeting is to be held tomorrow, but the time has not been decided yet. This cabinet meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and there is a possibility of recommending the dissolution of the House.’ Actually, it is necessary to hold an assembly session every six months, which cannot happen this time due to elections. It is known that the last session of the Haryana Assembly was called on March 13. In this way, the next session was to be held by September 12.
Voting for 90 assembly seats in Haryana is to be held on October 5. Counting of votes will take place on October 8. The last date for filing nominations is September 12. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on September 13 and nominations can be withdrawn till September 16. State Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini filed his nomination papers from Ladwa assembly constituency on Tuesday. He was accompanied by his wife Suman Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal. Before filing nomination, Saini did a road show in Ladwa assembly constituency, where BJP supporters welcomed him with flower garlands.
Political turmoil intensifies in Haryana
Talking about other election activities, Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday released the second list of 9 candidates for Haryana Assembly elections. In this, former minister Chhatrapal Singh has been made a candidate from Barwala. Singh had joined AAP from BJP a day earlier. On Monday, the party had released the first list of 20 candidates after talks with Congress on seat sharing failed. According to the new list, Rita Bamaniya has been made a candidate from Sadhaura, Kishan Bajaj from Thanesar and Hawa Singh from Indri. The party has given tickets to Mukhtiar Singh Bajigar from Ratia, Bhupendra Beniwal from Adampur and Chhatrapal Singh from Barwala. Jawahar Lal will contest from Bawal, Pravesh Mehta from Faridabad and Abash Chandela from Tigaon.
