This time a total of 1,031 candidates are contesting on all 90 seats of Haryana, out of which 101 are women. Among these candidates, 464 are independents. A total of 20,632 polling stations have been set up for voting. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is trying to regain power in the state for the third consecutive time, while the Congress is hoping to return to government after a decade.

To successfully conduct elections on 12 assembly seats of Faridabad division, 3022 polling stations have been created. About 30 lakh 52 thousand voters will vote at these polling stations. 1650 polling stations have been set up in Faridabad, 717 in Palwal and 655 in Nuhan. Around 18 lakh voters will vote in Faridabad, around 6 lakh voters in Palwal and around 6.5 lakh voters in Nuhan. Lines are being seen at polling stations since morning. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the voters reaching the polling stations towards casting their votes for their candidates. Voters say that by voting they will vote for the development of the area, good governance, education and health system, transport facilities, electricity, water and paved roads. Have been.

At the same time, in Gurugram district, a total of 47 candidates including 7 from Pataudi (SC), 13 from Badshahpur, 10 from Sohna and 17 from Gurgaon assembly constituency are in the fray. A total of 1507 polling stations have been set up here. There are a total of 15,04,959 voters in Gurugram district, including 7,92,225 men, 7,12,682 women and 52 third gender voters. Pataudi (SC) has 259 polling stations and 254780 voters, Badshahpur has 521 polling stations and 5,20,958 voters, Gurgaon has 435 polling stations and 4,43,102 voters and Sohna has 292 polling stations and 2,86,119 voters.

Hindustan correspondents Gaurav Chaudhary and Sarsamal are providing election related updates of Palwal from Gurugram and Faridabad.

A total of 22.5 percent voting took place in Faridabad district till 12 noon, so far 4,041,131 voters have cast their votes.

Till 11 am in Faridabad, 242327 voters have exercised their franchise. A total of 13.5 percent voting has taken place here so far. During this, District Election Officer Vikram Singh cast his vote in the polling booth at Vidya Mandir Public School located in Sector-15A. After this, he also visited many polling stations and talked to the employees posted on election duty.

– BJP MLA from Faridabad Assembly seat Vipul Goyal voted with his family. Haryana’s acting education minister Seema Trikha and her husband Ashwani Trikha also voted in Faridabad.

Gurugram DC Nishant Kumar Yadav has said that assembly elections are a festival of democracy and all voters should express their faith in the democratic system by exercising their vote. The DC was talking to media persons after voting along with his wife Dr. Preeti at the model booth number 230 in the SDO Panchayati Raj office located at Civil Lines. He said that the voting process is going on peacefully in all the four assembly constituencies of Gurugram district. This time there is a lot of enthusiasm towards voting in high rise societies.

There is news of an attack on the convoy of independent candidate Kahar Singh Rawat in Hathin assembly constituency of Palwal district on Friday night. Rawat remained safe in this attack, but four of his supporters were injured. After the incident, a complaint has been lodged with the police and the matter is being investigated.

– Gurugram District Election Officer and DC Nishant Kumar Yadav along with his wife walked to the polling station in BDPO office in Civil Line area and voted. After voting, the District Election Officer has appealed to the voters to vote enthusiastically.

Webcasting of all 1507 polling stations of Gurugram district is going on. The polling stations are being monitored from the control room located at the Mini Secretariat.

– Independent candidate from Gurugram Assembly, Naveen Goyal cast his vote along with his wife.

– The vehicles of former MLA Kehar Singh Rawat and independent candidate from Hathin of Palwal district were attacked and vandalized.

– Kumudini Rakesh Daulatabad, independent candidate from Badshahpur assembly seat of Gurugram district, cast her vote early in the morning.

Voting has started at 7 am in 1650 polling stations of all six assembly constituencies in Faridabad district and will continue till 6 pm. A total of 64 candidates are contesting here.

– Nine candidates are in the fray from Badkhal of Faridabad district, eight from Ballabhgarh, eight from Faridabad, 13 each from NIT, Prithla and Tigaon assembly constituencies. There are a total of 17 lakh 94 thousand 552 voters in Faridabad district, of which 9,76,504 are male voters, 8,17,968 female voters and 80 transgender voters.

To increase the voting percentage in Gurugram, polling centers have also been set up in 126 high-rise buildings. Polling stations have been set up in 9 Pataudi, 71 in Badshahpur, 42 in Gurgaon and 4 high-rise buildings in Sohna Assembly.

The administration has appointed 2-2 volunteers in all the urban booths of Gurugram, who will help the elderly and disabled voters in voting. The district administration has also made arrangements for pick and drop for elderly and disabled voters.
