Hisar Seat Result Live Updates: The results of assembly elections will be declared in Haryana today. Counting of votes has started. Independent Savitri Jindal is leading from Hisar seat. The country’s richest woman Savitri Jindal has contested as an independent candidate. Before this, the Jindal family had dominated this seat. Om Prakash Jindal from the Jindal family was the first to contest elections in 1968. Vaishya and Punjabi vote bank is highest here. After that comes the vote bank of Saini community.
Apart from Savitri Jindal, current Health Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta from BJP and Ramniwas Rada from Congress are contesting. BJP’s rebel former mayor Gautam Sardana and former district vice president Tarun Jain are also contesting the elections as independents. The contest for this seat has become interesting because of independent candidates. Dr. Kamal Gupta of BJP had won the 2019 assembly elections. He had defeated Ram Niwas Rada of Congress.
Gautam Sardana, who is contesting for Hisar seat, is facing public anger after being mayor from BJP for five years. Whereas former MLA and former minister Dr. Kamal Gupta is being challenged by three independent candidates of his own party. Meanwhile, after the arrival of Savitri Jindal and other leaders, the Vaishya community seems to be getting divided. Talking about Savitri Jindal, she came into politics after the death of Om Prakash Jindal in 2005 and was an MLA and minister twice. However, after losing the elections in 2014, he distanced himself from politics. This time she is returning to contest the elections as an independent candidate.
