The problems of BJP, which is facing rebellion in the party and a tough challenge from Congress in the Haryana assembly elections, are not decreasing. Its own people have come out against its own people. The latest case is from Hisar, where former Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Chandra has refused to support BJP candidate Dr. Kamal Gupta. Subhash Chandra has shared the information about his clear refusal to support Kamal Gupta by posting on his social media account X. Chandra has also shared the details of his telephone conversation with Gupta.
Subhash Chandra has written in the post that I had a phone conversation with the BJP candidate from Hisar for Haryana Assembly three days ago. In this post, Subhash Chandra also rebuked Kamal Gupta. Also, he made it clear that people are against him and he cannot help. BJP’s problems did not end here.
On the other hand, difficulties have arisen for BJP on the Mahendragarh seat as well. Former minister and BJP’s strong leader Ram Bilas Sharma has announced to contest the election as an independent from there. As soon as BJP leader Sharma came to know that his name is out of the ticket list, he called a meeting of supporters. In the meeting, he announced to file his nomination tomorrow at 1:15 pm. However, before the nomination, Ram Bilas Sharma will once again hold a meeting with the workers at his residence. After that, the next decision will be taken. After his name did not appear in the second list, in the meeting, the workers have advised Ram Bilas Sharma to contest the election.
Subhash Chandra had sent Kamal Gupta to the Vidhan Sabha for the first time
In the 2014 assembly elections, Subhash Chandra had the biggest contribution in getting Dr. Kamal Gupta elected to the assembly for the first time. Subhash Chandra fought this election with full vigor against the Jindal family. At that time, Savitri Jindal, being a minister in the Congress government, had contested the election from Hisar for the third consecutive time. The BJP fielded Dr. Kamal Gupta against her. Subhash Chandra had taken the command of Kamal Gupta’s election in his hands.
In this election, Kamal Gupta was able to defeat Savitri Jindal because of Chandra. In 2019, Kamal Gupta was able to reach the assembly again by defeating Congress’s Ramniwas Rada, but he had almost distanced himself from Subhash Chandra. Now Subhash Chandra has made it clear through social media that he will not help Kamal Gupta under any circumstances this time.
All eyes on the decision of BJP’s most senior leader Ram Bilas Sharma
Haryana BJP’s oldest and most veteran leader Ram Bilas Sharma is hurt by his name not being included in the list of contenders. Sharma has been the state president of the party and a cabinet minister many times. Currently, he is the most senior BJP leader in Haryana. He lost the 2019 election. This time, the name has been withheld from the Mahendragarh seat in the two lists released by the party. At present, under pressure from the workers, Ram Bilas has called a meeting of workers this morning.
