The Maharashtra assembly elections are to be announced today. The Election Commission will announce the dates in a press conference in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the statement of senior leader Sharad Pawar has come to light. He said that even though I am 84 years old, I am not going to stop. Not only this, even if I turn 90 years old, I will continue to work like this. Sharad Pawar says that he will bring Maharashtra on the right path and will work all the time for it. His reference was towards Ajit Pawar. Sharad Pawar is currently the leader of NCP-SP. He had to form this new party when Ajit Pawar rebelled and separated last year.
During a program, Sharad Pawar also took a dig at the Girl Sister Scheme announced by the Maharashtra government. He said that the sister was also in Baramati, but the election was fought there in front of her. Not only this, he sarcastically said that first there was an election campaign and a fight against the sister. After this, when the results of Lok Sabha elections came, he started missing his sister. Sharad Pawar said that the question before us is in whose hands Maharashtra should remain. This should either be in the hands of the common people or someone else should take command.
The senior leader said that whenever you open the newspaper you read a new scheme. Sometimes it’s about sisters. Everyone respects sister. She is the most important person in the family and respecting her makes everyone happy. He said that but the interesting thing is that the sisters were not remembered in the last 10 years. During the time of Devendra Fadnavis, full 5 years passed and there was no remembrance of the sisters. Even after this the sisters were not remembered. His memory came when Mahavikas Aghadi won 31 out of 48 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

He said that the general public is smarter than these leaders. In Baramati also, a sister was in front, but the public supported her. During this, Sharad Pawar also talked about standing firm. He said that even if I turn 90, I will continue to work like this. He said that I have not taken a single leave for 60 years. He said that I contested elections 14 times. Contested the Lok Sabha elections 7 times and fought the same number of times in the Assembly. Pawar said that till date I have not taken even a single leave in the service of you people.
