New Delhi: Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has advised Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) chief and Constitution maker Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s grandson Prakash Ambedkar to study the law closely. Raut’s remarks came a day after Prakash Ambedkar said during the Aarakshan Bachao Yatra that Eknath Shinde’s army is the real Shiv Sena. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi on Tuesday, Sanjay Raut said that as Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar’s successor, Prakash Ambedkar should respect his legacy.
Raut said that if Prakash Ambedkar feels that Shiv Sena is Shinde’s party then he should study the laws closely. He also said that other parties like Ramdas Athawale’s party have also emerged from Ambedkar’s party. In such a situation, if Ramdas Athawale’s party RPI is called the real party, then how much pain will Prakash Ambedkar feel?
In fact, Prakash Ambedkar had told journalists in Amravati on Monday during the Aarakshan Bachao Yatra that Shinde Sena is the real Shiv Sena because its strike rate is better than Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena. Ambedkar clarified his point by saying that if we look at the results of the Lok Sabha elections, the strike rate of Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena is better than Uddhav’s Shiv Sena. He also claimed that the officials also consider the organization led by Eknath Shinde as the real Shiv Sena.
Let us tell you that in the recent Lok Sabha elections, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) contested 21 out of 48 seats in Maharashtra and won 9 seats, while Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena contested 15 seats and won 7 seats. In this way, the strike rate of Shinde Sena has been good. Prakash Ambedkar also claimed that Uddhav Thackeray’s party has got votes from reservationists and Muslims.
Let us tell you that till four months ago, Prakash Ambedkar and Sanjay Raut’s party were singing the tune of friendship and amity for forming an alliance in the Lok Sabha elections, but now before the buzz of the assembly elections, both have started exposing each other and proving each other inferior.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has arrived in New Delhi on a three-day visit from Tuesday. During this, he will meet the leaders of the opposition alliance ‘India’. Raut told reporters in Delhi that this is Thackeray’s first visit to the national capital after the recent Lok Sabha elections. Raut said, “This is a dialogue tour. Leaders of Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party, Aam Aadmi Party will meet him. Congress’s Maharashtra in-charge Ramesh Chennithala will discuss with Thackeray. Uddhav ji will also meet Marathi and national journalists in the capital during his visit.
In the Lok Sabha elections held earlier this year, Shiv Sena (UBT) won nine seats out of the total 48 seats in Maharashtra, while Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), constituents of the ‘India’ alliance, won 14 and eight seats respectively. Elections to the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly are proposed in October this year.
