The date of voting in Haryana assembly elections is near. Meanwhile, a video of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s meeting is going viral, in which he got angry after listening to a young man. Not only this, he even ordered the young man to be thrown out of the hall. Voting for the assembly elections is to be held in the state on October 5.
According to media reports, Khattar was addressing a gathering at Punjabi Dharamshala in Hisar, Haryana. He was saying, ‘…the MLA of Hisar assembly has had a special role in forming the government of Bharatiya Janata Party in the past as well, and will have it this time too. It is clear, isn’t it…’ Meanwhile, a youth present below the stage in the program started answering.
According to reports, the youth said in front of Union Minister Khattar that BJP will come to power in Haryana, but their candidate will not win in Haryana. Shortly after this, the senior BJP leader gave instructions to ‘catch’ and ‘throw out’ the youth. The security personnel present there threw the youth out of the meeting.
Congress asked where are Khattar’s posters
Congress leader Pawan Khera on Monday took a dig at the BJP, saying it was surprising that no one in the ruling party wanted to put up posters of former chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar during the Haryana election campaign, PTI reported.
Kheda said, ‘Khattar’s posters are not seen anywhere. This is surprising. He was the Chief Minister for nine and a half years. What happened, no one wants to put his picture, what happened. Is Khattar not anyone’s leader (in BJP)?’
Kheda’s counter-attack comes amid BJP’s efforts to woo Congress leader Kumari Selja. There are reports that Selja, MP from Sirsa, is not happy with the ticket distribution for the Haryana assembly elections.
