Voting continues on Saturday for Haryana Assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters has appealed to its followers to vote in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The announcement came a day after Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim came out of Rohtak’s Sunaria jail on 20-day parole. According to the report of Economic Times, this message was given to the followers during the satsang organized at Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa late on Thursday night. Usually, instructions to the followers come openly from the Satsang platform a few days before the assembly elections. However, this time this instruction has been given in a somewhat silent manner.
According to sources, this time no announcement was made from the satsang platform. The camp officials went to the open courtyard and asked the people attending the meeting to vote for the BJP. “We have also asked followers to be active near the booth,” an official told ET. Every follower should take along 5 more voters living in his colony to vote. The atmosphere of satsang at Sirsa headquarters has changed after Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was sentenced to 20 years in jail. The Active Political Affairs Committee has been disbanded. Now his officials and followers organize satsang.
