According to the information, Amit Thackeray can contest elections from Mahim assembly seat. He is the President of Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena.
Amit Thackeray had recently visited many areas of Maharashtra and tried to build the party’s organization. He is also going to contest the elections and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena is preparing not to field a candidate against him. MNS leaders have demanded to field Amit Thackeray and now Raj has to take the final decision. A long meeting was held in this regard on Thursday night. There is discussion that if Amit Thackeray gets the ticket then Uddhav Sena will not field a candidate against him.
The reason for this is that when Aditya Thackeray contested from Worli seat in 2019, even MNS did not field a candidate against him. It is believed that Uddhav Thackeray is now going to do the same for Amit in return. In this way he is trying to reduce the conflict in the family. This will send a good message among the cadre. Especially at a time when the party is divided and a big camp is in power as a separate party with Eknath Shinde.

A leader of Uddhav Sena said that when Aditya had contested the elections from Worli, Raj Kaka had also not given a candidate. Now Uddhav Kaka will do the same. In fact, in the 2019 elections, Raj Thackeray said that if our children want to contest elections, then they should allow us to move forward. If Aditya wants to contest elections then what is wrong in it. Shiv Sena workers say that Uddhav Thackeray is making an emotional strategy through this. They feel that this will send the message of family unity and the workers will unite. Uddhav Sena hopes to benefit from this, especially on Mumbai seats. Not only this, if needed after the elections, MNS MLAs can also come along.
