In the Brahmin Samaj conference of Kaithal, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has given a controversial statement regarding UP CM Yogi Adityanath. He said that BJP is anti-Brahmin and Yogi Adityanath’s stature has increased by killing Brahmins.
Surjewala said, everyone knows that the leadership of this country comes from the largest province Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, if Adityanath is to be kept alive then the Brahmin community will have to be killed. Yogi Adityanath’s stature increased after his political defeat by killing him. Even his name Adityanath is not real. I once told you to tell me your real name. Just by wearing saffron one does not become worthy of saffron.
Surjewala said that atrocities have been committed against the Brahmin community in Haryana. There is also a story of oppression of Brahmins in the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh. After all, where is the Brahmin leadership of UP? The people of BJP have selectively rejected every person there. Surjewala said, I wear kurta pajama. It may be white but you people are the witnesses of my conduct.
He said, only two lines are true about today’s BJP. There is no relative whom we have not cheated. You go to Kanpur, Banaras, Lucknow, Banaras and ask. The people of BJP have selectively rejected each and every person. His leadership was terminated. You may not wear any clothes like the Jain monks, but if your conduct is fair then it will definitely be visible. Saffron is a symbol of purity, not of BJP. That is why when Pandit Nehru hoisted the flag for the first time, its upper color was saffron.
