After joining Congress, Olympic wrestler Vinesh Phogat is contesting from Julana assembly and her cousin and BJP leader Babita Phogat has reacted for the first time on her joining politics. Babita Phogat has said that Vinesh’s decision to join politics is personal. She is free to do anything in her personal life but she should have at least listened to her guru. Vinesh’s guru is Dronacharya Awardee Mahavir Phogat, who is Babita’s father and Vinesh’s uncle.
Babita Phogat said that a Guru always shows the right path. A Guru can never see his disciple going astray. Vinesh has taken a hasty decision to enter politics. If she had played wrestling, she would have definitely won a gold medal in the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
Bhupendra Hooda created a rift in the Phogat family
Babita blamed former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda for Vinesh’s political innings and said that Bhupendra Hooda succeeded in creating a rift in the Phogat family, the public will definitely teach him a lesson. Babita said that Congress’s agenda has been to do divide and rule politics. They have always worked to break families. In the Haryana Assembly elections, Babita Phogat was staking claim on the BJP ticket from Charkhi Dadri assembly seat, but the BJP has fielded Sunil Sangwan instead of Babita. On the question of not getting the ticket, Babita said that the BJP has taken a better decision. She has no regrets about not getting the ticket. I stand with the decision of the top leadership of my Bharatiya Janata Party.
Babita had lost the last election
Let us tell you that Babita Phogat had joined BJP in the 2019 assembly elections. The party had made her a candidate from Charkhi Dadri seat. However, she had to face defeat. Babita Phogat stood third in the elections. This time too she was expected to get a ticket, but the party did not give the ticket. BJP recently expelled Babita Phogat from government service.
Sunil Sangwan, who took VRS, has been given ticket from Charkhi Dadri seat. Sangwan is the son of Satpal Sangwan, who was the Revenue and Cooperative Minister in the Haryana Government. Recently, Satpal Sangwan joined BJP.
