Bollywood actor Kamal R Khan has targeted Akshay Kumar for rising oil prices and rising inflation. By sharing a screenshot of Akshay Kumar’s 2012 tweet against inflation, KRK has called him a Canadian Indian patriot, asking questions on the rising oil price.
KRK wrote on Twitter that “Dear Canadian Indian Patriot Akshay Kumar ji, you were having a lot of trouble when petrol was priced at Rs 62. Today the price of petrol is Rs 124 i.e. double. Do you have any problems now? Not at all, brother. Excellent! This is proof that you are a real patriot of your country Canada.”
In another tweet, KRK wrote that “Rs 124 petrol price is reasonable as per Akshay Kumar ji’s earnings as he was charging Rs 20 crore per film in 2011 and now he is charging Rs 150 crore per film.” People are also giving their feedback on this tweet of KRK on social media.
A user named Virdas wrote that “he will never speak about the problem of petrol, diesel or poor Indians. They speak only to target the Congress government and bring the saffron party to power.” A user named Shubhendu Mishra wrote that “Do such people never see a mirror.”
A user named Lavin Vohra wrote that “Petrol prices in Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Kerala etc are higher than in BJP ruled states, you never talked about this. Why didn’t all state governments support the inclusion of petroleum products in GST? Why did he always protest? But still your problem is only with BJP.”
A user named Naeem wrote that “Now Akshay Kumar ji wants to say that if a man does what he should, now he has to take out the cycle.” A user named Shashank Dubey, while replying to KRK, wrote that “If the country is so worried then why did you run away? Whoever wants to get the film done, he will give 150 crores, there is no compulsion. It is clear from your tweet that the flop actor is jealous of the success of others.
