The blockbuster Telugu film ‘Jagdeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ has finally returned to theaters on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. In 1990, when producers were making films on a low budget, Chiranjeevi and Sridevi starrer made by the producers of this film spent Rs 2 crore which was a huge amount according to the time. Interestingly, the film got so much love from the audience that it earned Rs 15 crore at the box office. Now, it is scheduled to be released again and is ready to collect a bang. The makers hope that this Fatty Drama will give a tough competition to Shubham, Samantha and Shri Vishnu’s single.
The sequel of Chiranjeevi-Shreedevi’s film was announced
Encouraged by the re -release of ‘Jagdeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’, Chiranjeevi spoke about the plans of its sequel. In a conversation with Deccan Chronicle, the veteran Star said, ‘Initially … I was not in favor of the sequel. But today, I would like to see Nag Ashwin directing it with Ram Charan and Jahnavi Kapoor. The story will be largely connected to before, it can be a dream project for both actors. Recalling the late actress, the actor says, ‘I miss Sridevi very much on this occasion. She was the heart of Jvas, her character looked like a dream. This was the first time we worked together and our chemistry was really special. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Sridevi, ‘Jagdeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ also features Amrish Puri, Kannada Prabhakar, Allu Ramalingaiah, Rami Reddy, Tankela Bharani and Brahmanandam.
