Now Aamir Khan wants to do one of the most special project in his career. Recently, Aamir Khan has expressed its desire. Aamir Khan told that he wants to make a series on Mahabharata. Which will have many films and will make them separate directors. These will have the characters of Mahabharata and stories related to it. Aamir Khan has revealed this in an interview to Hollywood reporter recently. Not only this, Aamir Khan even told that he is serious about this and will start work by the end of this year.
We will start work this year
Talking to the Hollywood reporter, Aamir Khan said, ‘I have an ambition, on which I am expecting to start work this year, that is Mahabharata. This is one of my biggest ambitions. So it is expected that work will start this year. Talking about the project deadline, he said, “It will take some time because, first of all, the writing process will take a few years.” When asked if he would appear as an actor in his adaptation to the Indian epic, Aamir Khan did not give a definite answer. He said, “We should select the actors for the film on the basis of who is suitable for each part.”
The story will not be completed in a film
The actor was also asked if he would direct the mythological saga. Aamir Khan said that given the scope of epic, he does not think it is possible to tell the whole story in a film. According to Khan, this project will require many films and directors. He confirmed that he would build the Mahabharata. Aamir also indicated that films could be shot together, cited the Lord of the Rings Triology as an example. In 2013, an animated edition of Mahabharata was released in which Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Vidya Balan, Manoj Bajpayee, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff gave the voice of the main characters. In addition, the mythological saga has been an inspiration for many films, such as SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali series.
Aamir Khan will be seen in the star Zameen
The actor is going to be seen in ‘Stars Zameen Par’ next time. Starring Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safari, the film has been introduced as ‘Thematic Sequel’ of the 2007 Bollywood hit ‘Taare Zameen Par’. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is expected to appear in theaters on June 20, 2025. It is allegedly a remake of the Spanish film Champions. Aamir Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta’s partition drama Lahore is also constructing 1947.
Aamir Khan will also appear on a cameo in Lokesh Kanagaraja’s porter.
