After a court marriage, the couple got married at Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Ira is the daughter of Aamir and Reena Dutta. She has a brother named Junaid. Aamir officially separated from Reena in December 2002. Aamir married Kiran Rao, who was an assistant director on the sets of ‘Lagaan’. They tied the knot on 28 December 2005 and have a son Azad Rao Khan. They announced their separation in July 2021.
