Mumbai, July 17 (IANS)| Singer Aastha Gill says she feels blessed to be a part of an era where independent music has evolved and is still gaining momentum. Aastha rose to fame with collaborative works such as ‘DJ Wale Babu’ and ‘Pani Pani’ with Badshah, apart from success on ‘Baaz’ or ‘Naagin’ with Akasa.
“Our audience’s tastes have evolved and people know what’s going on around the world. They know what the sounds are. People know how to make music. So, a lot of people are learning it. I feel so blessed.”
She continued, “I wake up and realize that I am blessed. There was a time when I used to listen to Alisha Masonry and the band Viva. Now here I am. Sometimes it is hard for me to believe that I did it. But yes, it is a golden time for all the artistes and everyone is doing their kind of work. I respect all the Indian artistes who are showing their talent.”Aastha will soon be seen participating in the adventure reality TV show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ season 11, which will air on COLORS.
