Famous actor Lalit Manchanda passed away for his work in Bollywood and TV world. He was found dead at his home in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh on Monday, April 21, 2025. He committed suicide by hanging himself. Local law enforcement immediately took action after receiving information about the incident. After reaching the spot, the officials noticed that Manchanda’s body was hanging inside the house. Police has sent the body to the local hospital for post -mortem. Celebs and his fans are paying tribute to him through social media.
Lalit Manchanda commits suicide due to this
According to Lalit’s family living in Prahlad Nagar of Lisadi Gate, Meerut, he was in depression due to lack of work. Due to this, the actor committed suicide. At present, no suicide note has been recovered from the scene. The police continue to investigate the circumstances around the death. Seeing the actor’s body hanging in his room, the family informed the police about the matter. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent the body of the deceased for postmortem and questioned the family members.
Cintaa expressed mourning
Manchanda acted in supporting roles in many Bollywood films and TV serials. He was scheduled to be seen in a web series, on which he started working recently. On Tuesday, CINTAA’s official Instagram account shared a post and expressed condolences to mourning Lalit’s death. With a picture of the actor, he wrote, ‘Cintaa expresses his condolences on the death of Lalit Manchanda.’
Had done work in these TV shows
Lalit Manchanda had worked as supportive actors in many serials like ‘India Most Wanted’, ‘Crime Petrol’, ‘Maryada’, ‘Rani Ki Rani’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Due to lack of work, he was in depression and was going through financial crisis. For this reason, he returned to Meerut from Mumbai.
