Bollywood actors Paresh Rawal and Nana Patelkar have been working in the same film industry for nearly 30 years. The two worked together in films like Krantivir, Ghulam-e-Mustafa, Aanch and Welcome and made it to the hearts of the people. The pair of both senior actors were appreciated for their strong acting. Along with acting, both Nana and Paresh Rawal are also good friends. Recently Paresh Rawal narrated an old funny anecdote of Nana Patekar. In which Paresh told how Nana Patekar had washed utensils after eating from a producer. In an interview, Paresh Rawal praised Nana Patekar’s impeccable and fearless personality.
Calling home fed mutton and utensils
Speaking to The Lalantop, Paresh Rawal recalled a funny incident, in which a producer was called to Nana Patekar’s house. Paresh Rawal says, ‘I was a producer, I will not take his name. Nana asked her to come home one day. He asked, do you eat mutton? The producer ate. After eating, Nana said – ‘You ate, isn’t it? Now go and wash the utensils. This is Nana Patekar- Father. It is different. That soil is different, man. ‘ Paresh Rawal also talked about Nana’s severe nature and hardworking habits. In which Paresh Rawal told that Nana took one crore rupees for a role and it created a lot of stir in the film industry. Paresh Rawal said, ‘Even the main hero does not ask for so much money. But Nana asked for and got. He said that Nana Patekar adopted very simple ways in asking for money.
Nana is known for harsh nature
Nana Patekar has worked in more than 100 films in his career so far and has praised people. Many of Nana’s films are still in the hearts of people and many characters have crossed the time on social media. From comedy to Gundai and Hero’s characters, Nana’s acting has been seen. Many of Nana’s films are still memorable today. Many scenes of Krantiveer, which came in the 90s, still dominate social media. Not only this, mimes are made even today on this character of Nana.
