Bappi Da considered gold as God
In a conversation with India Today, Bappi Da had once told that his father collected gold from different countries and cities across the world. It also includes the Vatican City of Hollywood. While Bappi Da had said many times that gold is not just a fashion status for him, now his son has told that Bappi Lahiri used to see this gold in a spiritual way.
This gold will be kept in the museum
Bappa Lahiri’s son Bappa Lahiri said about his gold chains, ‘We want people to see their things, so we will probably get it kept in a museum. He had a whole collection of shoes, glasses, caps, watches and jewelery which he loved very much and kept in a showcase. Let us tell you that Bappa Lahiri has also composed some songs for Bollywood so far.
Bappi’s hand was behind these superhit songs
Bappi Lahiri sang superhit songs like ‘Nain Mein Sapna’, ‘Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re’, ‘Yaad Aa Rahi Hai’ and ‘Tamma Tamma’. In the 80s and 90s, he was known as the disco king. In 1985, Bappi Lahiri was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for composing the soundtrack for the film ‘Sharaabi’.
