Faraz Khan, who gave hit films in the 90s, died on 4 November 2020 at the age of 46. Faraz Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt’s film ‘Fareb’ released in 1996, got popularity from Rani Mukherjee starrer ‘Mehndi’. Faraz, one of the best actors in the industry, was the son of actor Yusuf Khan. He worked in many Bollywood films between 1990-2000. Today, 27 May is his birth anniversary.
Because of this the last moments were spent in obscurity
Faraz Khan, who was ill for a long time, breathed his last in a hospital in Bangalore. He was suffering from pneumonia and brain infection, after which he distanced himself from films. Faraz was facing problems in his treatment due to financial constraints, after which his family members sought help on a fundraising website. Due to the illness, it became very difficult for him to work. In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, Faraz’s younger brother Fahman Khan revealed that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had also come forward for his brother’s treatment.
Did not work for 12 years after becoming a hit
Faraz Khan has done tremendous work in many films like ‘Prithvi’, ‘Love Story’, ‘Dulhan Banoo Main Teri’, ‘Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya’, ‘Bazaar’ and ‘Chand Bujh Gaya’, for which he received a lot of praise. Apart from Bollywood films, the actor has also worked in some TV shows. Faraz appeared in shows like ‘Achanak 37 Saal Baad’ and ‘Lipstick’. Let us tell you that he was last seen in the 2008 show ‘Neeli Aankhein’, after which he has been away from the entertainment industry for 12 years due to illness.
