This film of both was in the news for a long time, which was released in theatres on Friday i.e. 2 August, but this time Ajay Devgan could not impress the audience with his film. The film could not show anything special on the opening day and now the figures of the second day’s collection of the film have also come out.
The situation looked worse on the second day as well
Ajay Devgan and Tabu starrer ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ collected 2.1 crores at the box office on the first day and its condition did not improve much on the second day as well. This means that Ajay Devgan and Tabu’s ‘Gulaabi Ishq’ is still not getting much love from the audience. The film directed by Neeraj Pandey collected only 2.15 crores on the second day of its release. According to which, the film has been able to collect only around 4.15 crores in two days.
What was the impact of the film on the audience?
Apart from Ajay Devgan and Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari and Sai Manjrekar are also in important roles in the film, who have played the younger versions of Ajay and Tabu. The makers and Ajay Devgan’s fans had high expectations from the film, but this mature love story could not succeed in casting a spell on the audience. If this film does not make a big jump on Sunday, then after the failure of Maidan, it will prove to be another disaster for Ajay Devgan.

However, the beginning of 2024 was quite surprising for Ajay Devgan’s fans. His ‘Shaitan’ was released at the beginning of the year. This film performed brilliantly at the box office and collected 151 crores. In the Ajay Devgan starrer film, R Madhavan was seen as ‘Shaitan’, who takes his character’s daughter under his control. But, ‘Maidan’, released after the release of this film, could not do much wonders to the audience and could barely touch the figure of 50 crores.
