Karan Johar is a friend of most of Bollywood’s celebs and he definitely has some funny anecdote with everyone. In the year 2007, Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna also came to Karan’s show. Akshay came on the show with Anil Kapoor. During the episode, Karan had told that Akshay had threatened him, which affected him a lot.
Talking about Akshay’s temperamental nature, Karan recalled an old incident. Karan told that the Dil Chahta Hai actor had scolded him badly in his childhood, after which he was very scared.
Akshay used to throw him out of the badminton court: Karan said to Akshay, “I know you have been very rude in childhood. You don’t remember, we grew up in the same neighborhood. We were boys from South Bombay and used to be neighbors. I used to play badminton, but I was very bad at this sport. Akshay was a great player and he used to come and say it. You, you go out of court. We were small badminton players, so we used to just walk away on Akshay’s behest. And Akshay was a star badminton player, so we were thrown out of court as soon as he came.
Hearing this, Akshay said that Karan is making a story, to which Karan said, “I swear I am not lying. I remember I was scared. Talking about his ‘funniest meeting’ with Akshay, Karan revealed that the actor once mistook him for Sikander Kher. After which Akshay apologized to Karan for both the things.
