The film, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and starring Akshay Kumar, also stars Ananya Pandey and R Madhavan in the lead roles. Akshay Kumar is seen playing the role of Sir C Shankaran Nair in the film. The teaser of the film is quite strong and Akshay Kumar is also seen abusing a British judge in the courtroom in an excerpt.

Sir C. Shankaran Nair was a lawyer who challenged the British Empire after the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh scandal. The film is being produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective. The teaser is presenting a different style of storytelling, which begins with a scary background sound of twenty to thirty seconds before any scene is shown. These voices make the screams of the victims and the terrible screams of the people being killed in Jallianwala Bagh.
