The promotion of both the films is going on in full swing. Advance booking of both the films has started. But there is hardly any craze among the audience regarding Akshay-Tiger’s film. Less than 200 tickets of ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, have been sold on the first day, whereas around 4 thousand tickets of Ajay’s ‘Maidan’ have been sold.
According to the report of SACNILC, the advance booking of the first day of ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ shows that the film has sold only 173 tickets and has earned Rs 97 thousand. ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ has 670 shows across the country and the report further states that with block seats data included, the film has earned around Rs 8.4 lakh.

At the same time, sports drama ‘Maidan’ has managed to sell 3961 tickets worth Rs 7.37 lakh in advance booking on the first day.
