Ranbir, who talks about his daughter at every event, shared a very interesting story during a conversation at IFFI Goa 2024 which is now in discussion among the people. The actor recently sang the first song for his daughter, after which the fans are overjoyed, but when he told that Alia Bhatt did not know about Kishore Kumar, everyone was shocked.

Ranbir Kapoor once again proved why he is loved by people of all generations. The actor recently narrated several tales on stage at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. Talking about his daughter, Ranbir recalled the time when, like the Kapoor family, he made Raha sing a great song from his grandfather Raj Kapoor’s famous film ‘Anari’, which made her happy. The first song he played for Raha was ‘Kisi Ki Muskuraton Pe Ho Nisar’. Also explaining about the importance of this song, he said, ‘If you listen to the lyrics of this song carefully… then you will know that it is related to our lives.’
Alia Bhatt asked who is Kishore Kumar?
Ranbir Kapoor further said that he was surprised when his wife Alia Bhatt did not know about veteran musician Kishore Kumar. He told Alia who she is and why she is famous. Talking about this, the actor said, ‘This is the cycle of life. People forget and then a new artist comes. Ranbir further said, ‘I think it is very important that we remember our roots. Not just Raj Kapoor or Kishore Kumar but also many such filmmakers and artists whom we should always respect and I am grateful to IFFI for giving me the opportunity to say all this today.
