Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in the role of a football coach in the film Jhund. The film is based on the life of Soccer founder Vijay Barse. The film is directed by Nagraj Poprao. Nagraj has earlier directed the Marathi film ‘Sairat’.
Fans have become quite excited after seeing the trailer of Jhund. Amitabh’s role in the film is different from other films. He will be seen trying to make underprivileged children into footballers in the film. Viewers are getting emotional just after watching the trailer.
Producer Sandeep told in an interview that he only wanted to cast Amitabh Bachchan for the role of Vijay Barse in this film because he could play this role well. At the same time, Amitabh himself is a big fan of football. In such a situation, he liked the script of the film very much. This is the reason why he decided to cut the fees. Due to which the money of his fees could be used for film production. Sandeep told that Amitabh Bachchan said that it is better to spend money on this film than on me. After that his staff also cut the fees.
On the other hand, the producer of Jhund says that he was surprised by this decision of Amitabh Bachchan. Sandeep revealed that there were many hurdles in the making of the film. In 2018, the director had built a set in Pune for the film but due to paucity of money, it had to be removed. After that the film was stuck for a year.
