Ajay Devgan was seen in Bhuj, Punjabi film ‘Kismat 2’ to be released on September 24
Mumbai, Aug 18 (IANS) | Even though there were plans to make her Bollywood debut with the film ’83’, Hindi cinema audiences saw popular Punjabi singer and actor Amy Virk for the first time in ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’. As her performance is being noticed even if the film didn’t work out, Amy believes that great scripts and good film directors make star makers. In future, he wants to work with some of his favorite directors in Bollywood.
Amy told IANS, “When I was young, I used to watch movies only on TV in my house. I am from a village in Punjab, so going to theater and watching movies was not a part of our daily life. At home we Dharmendra Used to watch all Sahab’s movies and Sunny Deol movies. We love watching family dramas, action movies etc.”
“Now the whole idea of a hero and his image is changing and that is why, now when someone asks me who is a hero in Bollywood, who do I want to work with, I really don’t know the answer. want to work with great filmmakers, to learn from good scripts and good actors i want to work with rajkumar hirani, sanjay leela bhansali because first of all i like to watch their movies and i think they are real stars are producers.”
“They take out the best from the actors, and if the film works, the actor also succeeds! Having said that, I worked with Kabir sir and this was my debut in Bollywood. I want to work with him again. Am.” Even though people loved her appearance in ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, the film failed to impress the critics and the audience. Amy will next be seen in Punjabi film ‘Kismat 2’, which is slated to release on September 24.
