In Mumbai, Lalbaugcha Raja was immersed in the Arabian Sea at Girgaon beach in South Mumbai on Wednesday morning. Thousands of devotees gathered to have the last darshan of Bappa during the last phase of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, was also among those who had the last darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja and bid him farewell with his own hands. Anant himself was seen immersing the idol in the sea. Many videos of this have also surfaced, in which Anant Ambani is seen immersed in devotion.

Like every year, this year too lakhs of devotees gathered in this 11-day long festival. This time too, the procession of ‘Lalbaugcha Raja’ Ganesh started from Tuesday night itself at Girgaon Chowpatty Beach. Anant Ambani also visited the famous pandal on Tuesday night. The Ambani family, which celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi in a grand manner, is a regular visitor of Lalbaugcha Raja. On Saturday night, Mukesh Ambani, Anant Ambani and his wife Radhika Merchant and Shloka Mehta reached the pandal to perform Puja. Before the immersion on Wednesday morning, the huge gold crown of the idol of Lalbaugcha Raja, which was donated by Anant Ambani, was dismantled. Now the committee will use it for social work.

The 20 kg grand gold crown on Lalbaugcha Raja’s head caught everyone’s attention. Its price was said to be around Rs 16 crore. This crown was decorated on the head of the Lord by none other than the beloved younger son of the Ambani family, Anant Ambani. It took two months to make this crown and it was prepared with great care. This crown given by Anant Ambani was seen as a symbol of his long-standing relationship with the Lalbaugcha Raja Committee. People come in large numbers to visit Bappa and a lot of offerings are also made, which are used in social work.
