Anjali Munjal is a beautiful professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer who has a creative ability to express herself through her sense of rhythm and music and through postures. He has an excellent ability to work as part of a team with singers, artists and actors. They harmonize the movements of the body very well with the rhythm of the musical accompaniment. Munjal has given her performance on many big forums and in the country and abroad. He has received many scholarships and awards till now.
After graduating in Philosophy from Gargi College, Delhi University, Munjal took the degree of Alankar in Kathak from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. From the time she was in school, she started performing on big stage. Danced at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the opening ceremony of the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Munjal gave his scintillating performances in 2012, 2014 and 2017 at the Neemrana Fort located in Rajasthan.
Talking about solo performance, she has danced at Rajappa Mahotsav (2019), Ritu Vasant Mahotsav, Udaipur (2019) and Chakradhar Samaroh, Raigad (2018). He did Kathak solo singing during the Sopan Young Musician and Dancer Festival in 2018. In the ‘Horizon’ series of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), he performed in Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Goa and Trivandrum from 2012 to 2018. In ICCR sponsored events, he has performed in Panama, South America, Nepal, Italy, Morocco, Kuwait etc.
Munjal earned a lot of fame not only from his productions but also as a choreographer. She choreographed at the Diwali celebrations of the World Bank for three consecutive years (2017, 2018 and 2019). He choreographed in Vaibhav (2009), Ashta Naika (2010), Rubaru (2012), Nav Durga (2014, 2015, 2017), Baramasa (2017) and Vasavadatta (2019).
Munjal has received Young Artist Scholarship from Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Kala Sangam, Delhi. Apart from this, he has received Kapila Vatsayan Scholarship and Tara Bhattacharyaji Scholarship from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Munjal has also received the seventh Rajiv Gandhi Pratibha Award. She has been a dance teacher at Kala Sangam, Delhi from 2015 to 2019 and is currently running her own ‘Jhankar’ institute in Delhi.
