New Delhi. Bad Newz is something that makes your ears stand up on hearing it. All the five senses stop working and believe me, this film is also exactly like that. Its story has surprised us and I hope that 90 percent of you will also be a little surprised on hearing the story of this film for the first time. Yes, we are talking about the film Bad Newz in which stars like Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dhimari and Amy Virk are seen. The director of the film is Anand Tiwari. The film has been written by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja. The film has been produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. So let’s take a look at the story of the film without any delay.

What is the story of the film!!

The story of Bad Newz begins with the dreamland love story of Saloni (Tripti Dhimari) and Akhil Chaddha (Vicky Kaushal). But this love story is not as fairytale as it seems and they get divorced after a few months of marriage. After this, Gurbir Pannu (Amy Virk) enters the story but the twist in the life of these three comes when Saloni comes to know that she is pregnant with twins but the father of one child is Akhil (Vicky Kaushal) and the father of the other is Gurbir (Amy Virk). Now after this, there is a commotion in the life of these three which is going to make you laugh a lot in the theater. Now you must be wondering how two different fathers of children are born in the same womb? What happened in the lives of Saloni, Akhil and Gurbir? What is this strange medical term? So brother, for the answers to all these questions, you will have to watch this film.

Acting:

Talking about acting, Vicky Kaushal has maintained his magic in this film as always. Vicky Kaushal has molded himself in the character of Akhil in such a way that it seems as if he was made for the role of such a Punjabi boy. Tripti Dhimri has done justice to Saloni. She has also done a very good job in emotional scenes. Amy Virk has brought the character of Gurbir to life. Yes, but in all this, Vicky Kaushal still won. He has overshadowed Amy somewhere in the film. His charm keeps you hooked throughout the film. The rest of the actors have also done a great job in their respective roles.

Music:

The songs of the film are also superb. Some of the songs of the film have already become hits. There is a new version of Shahrukh Khan’s song “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam” in the film but the originality of the song has not been tampered with. The old touch is intact in the new song which is enough to give a nostalgic feel in the theatre. The comic timing of the film is superb. There are no jokes that will be remembered for years but they suit the film and make you laugh too.

Where did the deficiency lie?

The screenplay of the film is a bit slow at some places but the good thing is that you do not feel bored due to the comic timing. At some places in the film, Vicky Kaushal seems to be overacting or we can say that we get a glimpse of Rocky Randhawa. But according to the character, you can digest this overacting. There is definitely a lack of emotions in the film, a little more work could have been done there. Otherwise, the film is engaging and keeps you captivated.

to watch or not to watch

The story is fresh. The actors are fresh. The film is completely entertaining, so it is worth watching it once in the theatre.
