Akshara Singh has complained to the police in this matter that she received a phone call twice on the late night of 11th November. Akshara Singh was threatened by calling from two different numbers. Akshara Singh has said in the complaint given to Danapur police that as soon as she received the phone call, she was abused and talked to. He told that both the phone calls were made to him after 12 o’clock at an interval of one minute. Akshara Singh has done tremendous hit films like Satya, Maa Tujhe Salaam. She also sings songs. According to Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh, as soon as she received the phone call, the person threatening her said that if the amount of Rs 50 lakh was not given by November 13, she would be murdered. Danapur police station is investigating this matter. Police say that the person who threatened to kill Akshara Singh and demanded extortion money of Rs 50 lakh will be found soon. In recent times, Akshara Singh is the third celebrity from the film world who has been threatened with death through phone call.
Earlier, Salman Khan, known as Bhaijaan of Bollywood, and superstar Shahrukh Khan were given death threats. Mumbai Police had received a threatening phone call for both of them.
