On Christmas evening, Ranveer had gone for a swim in the open sea with his girlfriend, but a strong current pulled them underwater. Not only this, the situation became so serious that it threatened his life. But then an IPS officer present there and his IRS wife saved the lives of Ranveer and his girlfriend.

Ranveer has shared a post on his Instagram regarding this accident, in which he explained the entire incident in detail. Ranveer wrote, “Merry Christmas to everyone from Goa. It was the most eventful Christmas of my life. My girlfriend and I love open ocean swimming, but this time things went wrong. The strong current of water swept us away. I have faced such a situation before, but this time the situation was more difficult because there was someone else with me.”

Ranveer told that due to the strong current, he and his girlfriend got entangled and found it difficult to get out of the water. After struggling for 5-10 minutes he called for help. He further wrote, “A family of 5 people swimming nearby heard our screams and immediately came forward to save us. Among them were an IPS officer and his IRS wife. He saved our lives by showing courage and restraint.”
