Hyderabad,(IANS)| Big films ‘RRR’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Bhimla Nayak’ are going to give tough competition to each other in Sankranti release. At the same time, the businessmen of Tollywood are confused about this confrontation. The issue of ticket prices of Andhra Pradesh on one hand and heavy competition among bigwigs on the other has become a headache for producers, distributors, theater owners and other film traders.
Ram Charan and NTR-starrer ‘RRR’, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’, Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati-starrer ‘Bhimla Nayak’ and another big film are in the list of films to hit the screens during Sankranti .With all the biggies in this competition, there is no possibility of theaters being available for all the films in the Telugu states, and, if negative things come to the fore about any of these films after release, the distributors will suffer huge losses. and cinema halls will have to be vacated. Taking into account all the factors, big businessmen of the industry have arranged a meeting to discuss the proposals.
It is reported that there will be major changes in the release dates of the listed films as well as other business related resolutions. The makers of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Pata’ had already realized the risk factors, and hence postponed the box-office clash by pushing the release date. Now the film has been postponed till April 1.
