India also got a good news on the second day of Paris Paralympic Games 2024. India’s shooter Avani Lekhara won the first gold medal in the 10m air rifle (SH1) event. In the same event, Mona Agarwal of India did wonders by winning the bronze medal. Bollywood also congratulated Indian para-athletes Avani Lekhara, Mona Agarwal, Manish Narwal and Preeti Pal for winning medals at the Paris Paralympics. Many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to congratulate these winners. From Kareena Kapoor Khan to Ayushmann Khurrana, everyone has expressed happiness over Avni Lekhara’s victory.

Kareena Kapoor expressed her happiness by posting a collage of the athletes who won at the Paris Paralympics on Instagram. On her Instagram story, she tagged Avni, Mona, Manish and Preeti and wrote, “Many congratulations.” Along with this, she also shared the heart and tricolor emoji. Ayushmann Khurrana also expressed his excitement on Instagram. Sharing pictures of the winners, he wrote – “What an amazing day for India at the Paralympics. Feeling very proud. ” Along with this, Ayushmann congratulated each athlete individually in his post.

Sonali Bendre also congratulated the Paris Paralympic winners. She shared a collage of Avni and Mona, in which both were seen proudly flaunting their medals. Let us tell you, Avani Lekhara won the gold medal in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 final and with this she also did another amazing feat. Avani also created a Paralympic record by scoring 249.7 points. However, she has made many records before this as well. This is Avani’s second Paralympic gold and she has become the first Indian woman to do so. Mona Agarwal also won the bronze medal in the same event. Apart from this, Manish Narwal won the silver medal in the men’s air rifle category, while Preeti Pal created history by winning the bronze medal in the women’s T25-100m event, becoming the first Indian para-athlete to achieve this feat.
