Mumbai: On Sunday morning, there was news of firing outside the house of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, which created a stir not only among the actor’s fans but in the entire industry. Now veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha also condemned the firing outside Salman Khan’s house on Sunday. The actor-politician has described the firing as ‘cowardice’. Shatrughan Sinha told what was his first reaction after hearing the news of firing outside Salman Khan’s house. He said that the first thought that came to his mind after the firing was the safety of Salman and his family. Along with this, he also urged that the safety of film crew should be a priority.
Times Now Speaking to, Shatrughan Sinha said- ‘Salman and his family, including his father, the great writer Salim (Khan) Sahab, are very close to my heart. When I heard about the incident on Sunday morning, my first concern was the safety of his family. Salim Sahab and Salman are the pride of our film industry. We as a fraternity should come forward to condemn such cowardly acts.
Shatrughan Sinha also said that spreading terror openly in this way is not right at all. Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha debuted with Salman Khan in Dabangg (2010). Let us tell you, both the accused have been arrested in this case. Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother took responsibility for the attack. On Monday night, Mumbai Police confirmed that both the accused were caught in Bhuj, Gujarat late on Monday night.
Officials told news agency ANI, “Both the accused, who fled from Mumbai after the shooting, have been arrested from Bhuj in Gujarat.” Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested two accused involved in the firing case at Salman Khan’s house from Bhuj district of Gujarat. The accused have been identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. According to sources, the police found both the bike-riding accused involved in the firing case in Bhuj district. The accusers have been brought to Mumbai for questioning.
