Superstar Prabhas’ ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’, made in Telugu language, is one of his superhit films, which had better collections than expected. This movie was released in theaters on December 22, 2023. It featured great stars like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu and Tinu Anand. As soon as ‘Salaar’ was released in theatres, it earned Rs 308 crore at the box office on the first day. Prabhas’s ‘Saalar’ did a business of Rs 625 crore in 10 days. The audience liked the action of Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the film, due to which people are eagerly waiting for the second part of Salaar. After the flop of ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Saaho’, Prabhas’s luck improved with this film.
Number 1 action film captures OTT
On completion of one year of Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, director Prashant Neel spoke openly on Part 2 of the film. He had announced ‘Saalar 2′ in an interview shared on HomeBailey Films. Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ was released on Disney Plus Hotstar in February 2024 and now it is trending in India’s top 10 list on OTT for the last two weeks. It has been ranked at number 8.
