Insulting saints and great men in the series?
Ekta Kapoor and her mother are accused that their company had filmed some objectionable scenes of minor girls. It is written in the complaint that the scenes of these girls were shot in season 6 of OTT platform ALT Balaji’s web series ‘Gandi Baat’. According to the allegation, these scenes were filmed between February 2021 and April 2021. However, this controversial episode is not streaming on the application right now. The complaint also talks about insulting great men and saints.
The court had recently given this decision
The complainant says that in this series, saints and great men have been insulted with the help of a cigarette ad. Although no statement has come from Ekta Kapoor on this matter yet, but this case has been registered when recently the court had made strict remarks regarding obscene films made on children. The Supreme Court had said in September that watching, publishing or downloading obscene content related to children is a crime.
