Bumper collection expected in second part of the year
Chhaava is now expected to reach ₹ 13,000 crore ($ 1.57 billion) by the end of the year, which can be the largest figure in the history of Indian cinema. Its most special thing is that this figure only includes India’s earnings, not abroad. Many big films are going to be released to take this magnificent journey further such as ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, ‘War 2’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Akhanda 2’, ‘Thama’, and ‘OG’.
Chhaava viewers’ choice and films
The biggest grossing film of 2025 was ‘Chhava’, which did a business of over ₹ 670 crores. Apart from this, films like ‘Sankranti Ki Vasthunam’, ‘Red 2’, ‘Good Bads Next’, ‘Game Changer’, ‘Thuderum’, ‘Sky Force’, ‘L2 E Emuran’ and ‘Dragon’ have also performed brilliantly.
Cinema atmosphere according to language
Chhaava was at the top of Hindi films and captured 39% market share. Telugu and Tamil films also entertained the audience a lot, which had 19% and 17% respectively. Malayalam films made a part of 10%, while Hollywood has returned to double digit again after three years.
This first half year of Chhaava 2025 has been full of hope and enthusiasm for Indian cinema. Films of different languages have connected the audience together and every month some hit film is dominating theaters.
