When the film’s director Neeraj Ghaywan was showing him the script, Vicky Kaushal asked him, listen Neeraj, I wanted to talk to him, Anurag sir was saying something about jumping into the Ganges. So the director said that yes you have to do that but you know swimming, right? Vicky Kaushal, who has hydrophobia (fear of water), started fearing that the film might go out of his hands. Actor used to learn swimming among children
Director Neeraj advised him to forget the script and first go and learn swimming. Vicky Kaushal told that I went to learn swimming where I am 6 feet 4 inches tall, because I have to do the movie Masaan. Vicky told that when he used to stand in the pool, the rest of the batch would come up to his waist. The actor told that the small children used to start swimming vigorously as soon as they entered the pool and they were learning to paddle by standing on the side.
