Karan wants to make Ranveer a villain
Karan says, ‘We chose Ranveer Singh because Ryan Reynolds had mentioned him. Ranveer had voiced Ryan in the Hindi version of Deadpool 2. Karan feels Ranveer would be perfect as a villain because villains are more fun and Ranveer has the right energy for it.’ Karan also said that Ranveer Singh has the potential to shine in Hollywood, he said, ‘I think he would do well in any Hollywood film. But, according to me, he looks like a full-fledged movie star who can become a star in America as well.’

Karan also praised Ranveer Singh’s journey and said, ‘I love his story too.’ He further said that Ranveer started off as an unknown person and achieved a lot, especially in India which is very difficult. Karan believes that Ranveer considers himself very Indian and if he gets a chance, he will bring Indian culture to the international stage.
Ryan Reynolds praised Ranveer Singh
A few days before this interview with Karan Soni, Ryan Reynolds had talked about wanting to work with Ranveer Singh. When asked which Bollywood actor he would like to work with, Ryan had replied, ‘I don’t know. Oh… Ranveer Singh is amazing. He has voiced Deadpool in Hindi. He is very funny and is very fit too.’ Talking to Hugh, Ryan asked, ‘Do you think you are fit?’ Hugh replied, ‘Really?’ Ryan then said, ‘This guy makes you look like the ‘Crypt-Keeper’. He is amazing.’ Both Hugh and Ryan praised Ranveer.
