One such name is Mimoh Chakraborty, son of Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty, also known as Mahakshaya. Mimoh’s debut in the film world was nothing special. Mimoh made her Bollywood debut in 2008 with ‘Jimmy’ and her first film proved to be a big flop. Meanwhile, Mimoh talked about the phase of his first film being a flop.

In a recent interview with digital commentary, Mimoh shared a very private and heart -touching story. Mimoh told how much he was affected by the first failure. He told that his first film was made with the help of Salman Khan and his family. However, the box office proved to be a big flop. The failure of this film impressed him badly.

Mimoh says- ‘Salman Bhai has helped me a lot. They have always stood with me. They are like my elder brother. They love my father very much. Salman Bhai suggested to my father that we should show the teaser of ‘Jimmy’ in theaters with his film partner. The partner was being released at that time. The film was titled ‘Jimmy’ by Sohail Khan.
When Mimoh saw a partner with family
Mimoh Chakraborty remembered watching the partner film with his family, where the teaser of his film Jimmy was shown. After the teaser, the audience clapped and at the age of 24, Mimoh felt that he had become a star. Recalling the day, Mimoh said- “I went to the theater to see the partner with my whole family. The partner was houseful, Govinda was also making a comeback with it and when the teaser came, people became silent but after 5 seconds they started clapping. I was 24 years old, I was 24 years old, I felt that I felt that I have become a star and I became a dance and dancing. I have become a star. It was nice to stop the phone on Friday afternoon, the check bounced – in a shock, I felt that I did not get out of the house.

When Jimmy, directed by Raj N Sippy, was released in theaters in 2008, it did not get any special response from the audience. The film was reduced to the box office in earnings of 1.86 crores. In this film, actors like Vivana Singh, Rahul Dev, Adi Irani, Vikas Anand and Shakti Kapoor were also seen along with Mimoh.
