In a special conversation with ‘ETimes TV’, Deepika said, ‘I just heard the news about myself that I want to quit acting career. People have taken my point wrongly that I do not want to act. So let me tell you that it is not so. I always wanted to be a housewife. Shoaib goes to office and I make breakfast for him and take care of the house. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to work again. It is possible that I will not be able to work for the next 4-5 years or if I get some good offer in the meantime, I will accept it. It may also happen that I want to give those 4-5 years of mine to my child. So all these things I can only say till the baby is done.
Deepika will spend time with the child
Dipika Kakar was last seen in ‘Sasural Simar Ka 2’. He had a very small role in it. Now she is enjoying her motherhood phase. She wants to see the child grow up in her presence because she believes that when the child grows up, he needs his mother the most. She wants to see her child grow up. Mother’s support is necessary in the initial years. When we used to study, my mother used to get up early and sit with us. So I also want to live all these moments with my child.
