New Delhi. Junior NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan starrer film ‘Devra Part 1’ was released in theaters on September 27. The film performed average at the box office, but won praise for its grandeur, treatment and VFX. The acting of Junior NTR and Saif Ali Khan in the film was also liked by the audience. The film earned around Rs 74 crore on its first day, but could not maintain its impact after that. Till now the total collection of the film has reached Rs 343 crore.
Now ‘Devra’ is going to be released on OTT. This film will stream on Netflix from November 8. Netflix has acquired the digital rights of the film in all languages, so it will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
This was Jr NTR’s first solo release after ‘RRR’, in which he was seen in the lead role. However, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan, so it cannot be called a completely solo hero film, but it was also not a multi-starrer like ‘RRR’, where he was seen with Ram Charan.
On the film’s average performance, Jr. NTR said, “We, as audiences, have become very negative these days. We are not able to enjoy any film innocently. With every movie we watch, we are constantly reviewing, analyzing, and thinking about it. Perhaps our increasing understanding of cinema has made us like this.”
