Diljit promised in the show
Diljit also made a promise in the Ahmedabad show and expressed his desire to start a movement against alcohol. Diljit had said that if all the ‘thekas’ (liquor shops) were closed in the country, he would stop singing liquor-themed songs. At his show in Ahmedabad, the singer-actor responded to the notice sent before his concert in Hyderabad, in which he was instructed to avoid singing songs related to alcohol, drugs and violence. After receiving a notice from the Telangana government ahead of the Hyderabad concert, Diljit has made some changes in the lyrics of his chartbusters Lemonade and 5 Star, which originally mentioned ‘Daru’ and ‘Theka’. During the show he said that he will not sing songs on alcohol because Gujarat is a dry state.
Diljit’s upcoming shows
Let us tell you, after Ahmedabad, Diljit will continue his Dil-Luminati Tour on 22nd November and he will perform in Lucknow. After this he will perform in Pune on 24th November, Kolkata on 30th November, Bengaluru on 6th December, Indore on 8th December and Chandigarh on 14th December. His tour will end in Guwahati on 29th December.
