Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has announced that his much awaited film “Punjab 95” based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khala will be released internationally on February 7 without any cutting.
The “Punjab 95”, directed by Honey Trehan and the banner of Ronnie Screwwala, will not be released in India at present. The film was delayed after a deadlock with the Central Board of Film Certification (CFBC). It also stars Arjun Rampal and Suvinder Vicky, who made headlines in “Kohra”.
On Friday evening, Diljit shared a trailer of the film on the social media, in which he is playing the role of Khalda. The film is based on Jaswant’s investigation over alleged human rights violations during terrorism in Punjab and the disappearance of Sikhs. He wrote, “Punjab 95” will be released in theaters internationally on February 7.
