Amidst the great success of ‘Tumbad’, the producer gave good news to his fans by announcing ‘Tumbad 2’. Now a shocking news has come out about Soham Shah’s film, which has upset everyone. The sequel of the film is in tremendous discussion among the people these days. However, director Rahi Anil Barve has said that he will not direct the film.

In an official statement on Instagram, Rahi Anil Barve said, ‘For decades I have worked on this wonderful film, with many producers changing in between. The first was The Greed of Patriarchy (Tumbbad). My personal and very deep version of the father, the son and the holy spirit. The second deals with the dawn of feminism and the holiest of the holy satipratha – Paharpangira. The third, the end of this trilogy will be Pakshitirtha. That’s all I have to say for now.’

He further added, ‘I wish Soham and Adesh all the best for Tumbbad 2. I have no doubt that it will be a grand success. After the completion of Gulkand Tales and Raktbhraman by the end of this year, I am planning to film on ‘Pahadpangira’ in March 2025.’ Adesh Prasad, who co-wrote and co-produced the first installment, responded to the post, writing, ‘Thank you, @rahianilbarve. It’s no secret that I will always cheer for you. My heart fills with pride and excitement to see all your dreams finally come true, all of which were made with a lot of hard work.’

Earlier, Rahi had told that his upcoming project is almost ready and the third project is also going to be made. He thanked the duo of Raj and DK for their support during his struggle. ‘Tumbaad’ director Rahi Anil Barve is working on the web show ‘Gulkand Tales’ and ‘Rakt Universe’.
