New Delhi. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s businessman husband Raj Kundra is once again in trouble. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided Raj Kundra’s house and office in an old case related to pornography. ED officials have been investigating since 6 am. This case is related to the case registered in 2021 of creating porn content and circulating it socially through mobile phone app. In fact, the huge money earned from porn content has also been transacted in foreign countries, ED is investigating the same. Raj Kundra was also arrested in this case in 2021.
Raj Kundra had to stay in jail for two months after his arrest. Later he got bail from the court. After being released from jail, Raj Kundra had completely rejected all the allegations, declaring himself innocent. According to the information that has come out so far, raids are going on at about 15 different places including Mumbai and UP. Apart from Raj Kundra, some other people are also included in this, whose premises are being searched. Raj Kundra has also been accused of money laundering through Bitcoin and ED is investigating this matter. In October this year, ED had given notice to Raj Kundra to vacate his Juhu bungalow and Pune farmhouse.
Raj Kundra had filed a petition against the ED notice in the Mumbai High Court. In the year 2017, an investment company named Gain Bitcoin was formed. People were made to invest in this company and they were promised 10 percent return, but after just one year, when people lost their money, the reality came to the fore. After this case reached ED, some people including Amit Bhardwaj, the mastermind of this Ponzi scheme, were arrested. Later investigation revealed that bitcoins were sent from Amit’s account to Raj Kundra. In this way Raj Kundra also became the target of ED.
